A minimum of 48 hours notice from the start of the working day must be given when cancelling a scheduled walk/daycare. insufficient notice will result in the full price of the walk/booking will be charged.

Regular booking cancellations: To secure your chosen space, a retainer fee of 42% of the cost of the booking is to be paid when any cancellation is made. Regular booking cancellation includes but is not limited to school holidays, sickness, missed collection and general vacations.

All adhoc bookings require 7 days notice of cancellation or full cost of booking is charged. All Cancellations made with sufficient notice will incur a 50% charge of the price of booking.

Termination of regular booking/contract requires four weeks working notice period. This period will still be charged regardless of the service usage. The notice period is invoiced in advance. Termination notice will be taken from the next working day if outside of office hours (Monday to Friday 8am-5pm)

24 hour board must be paid in full at the time of booking, When booking multiple days boarding a booking fee of 50% of the overall booking fee will need to be paid at the time of booking to secure the chosen dates. The outstanding balance is then to be paid before or on the commencement date.

Boarding cancellation charges apply as follows: Cancellation within 14 days of booking, full price of booking is to be paid. Cancellation within 2-4 weeks prior to commencement of boarding result in 50% of booking to be paid. Cancellation over 4 weeks prior to commencement of booking result in 25% of booking to be paid. cancellation 8 weeks or more prior to commencement of booking result in 10% cost of booking to be paid.

It is accepted that during daycare and boarding your dog will be within a family home and will reside with the carers own dogs and family and also other dogs may be using the facilities as well as your own.

By using the services provided, you confirm that your dog is non-aggressive and not subject to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. Should a dog show aggressive tendencies towards the carer or their family, or should it’s behaviour become uncontrollable or a nuisance beyond reasonable acceptance, you agree that your dog will be placed in a Dog Boarding Kennel until your return and that you will need to meet any additional costs on your return. (This is failing the ability of yourself or the emergency contact person to immediately collect your dog).

you agree for the carer to make any decisions regarding your dog’s health providing it is acting in the best interest of your dog, that they have made every attempt to contact yourself or the emergency contact person first and that it is on the advice of a qualified veterinary surgeon.

Vet bills that your dog may incur will be met by yourself, as owner, as soon as possible. The carer is not responsible for any vet costs that may be incurred during your dogs stay.

You are financially responsible for any damage to property whilst your dog is staying with the carer, this includes but is not limited to, the excessive soiling of carpets which require cleaning, damage to property inside or outside of the carers home, damage to other dogs property whilst staying within the home or damage to a third parties property.

i) Your dog’s veterinary recommended vaccinations and kennel cough vaccination must be completed at least 4 weeks before boarding. Due to the live nature of the kennel cough vaccine, we do not accept dogs for boarding with 2 weeks of it receiving the kennel cough vaccination. ii) Your dog has been treated for fleas with a prescribed flea treatment and wormed prior to admittance. iii) Alternatively, proof of titre test must be presented prior to boarding. Titre tests are accepted up to 6 months from the initial date of test

Should you be unable to collect your dog on the arranged day, you will contact More Than Dogs immediately to re-arrange collection or to arrange delivery. Additional costs may be applied. If no contact is made within a reasonable time then you authorise More Than Dogs to classify the animal as abandoned and agree that More Than Dogs may attempt to re-home, sell or send your dog to a charitable animal organisation.

More Than Dogs reserves the right to decline to care for any dog we consider to be visibly unwell at the time of leaving the dog with us. We also reserve the right to withdraw from a booking with an unspayed bitch in season, or due to come into season, whilst resident with us. More Than Dogs will not be liable for any costs incurred by the dog’s owner in the event of such cancellations and will retain 100% of the overall cost of the booking.

We take great pride in the care of any animal in our charge, however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in our care.

Should your dog develop kennel cough or any other contagious disease whilst boarding with us, and that is not as a direct result of negligence on the carers part, you will be contacted to arrange for your dog’s removal. Alternatively your dog will be placed in a suitable Dog Boarding Kennel until your return and that you will need to meet any additional costs upon your return. More Than Dogs will not be liable for any costs incurred as a result and 100% the cost of the booking will be kept.

Your dog will be photographed during its stay with us. These images may be used on our Website/social media etc unless you specifically request us not to do so. Any such request will be noted on your Dog Boarding Form and must also be in writing specifically via email .

By making a booking for any services offered by More Than Dogs you agree to the above terms and conditions as stated.
